With over a decade of hands-on experience and more than 10,000 hours dedicated to his craft, Quincy Davis brings a finely-honed intuition and professional polish to every project. Though much of his early work developed through self-driven exploration and collaborations with close artist friends, his dedication has since evolved into a sharp, versatile skillset spanning music production, soundtrack composition, and audio post-production. Quincy has composed full original soundtracks for two award-winning documentaries, produced and composed music for five award-winning music videos, and had his work featured on Democracy Now! and PBS. He was nominated as Portland’s Best Hip-Hop Artist (2017). ARTIST STATEMENT

I create music to move people—emotionally, spiritually, viscerally. At the heart of my work is a deep listening—both to the material in front of me and to the inner current that guides my intuition. I see music not just as sound, but as a language for transformation. Whether I’m scoring a scene, building a world of sound for a documentary, or producing, mixing or mastering an album for an artist, my goal is always the same: to uncover and amplify the soul of the project. My background in Hip-Hop taught me how to channel raw truth. My love for cinematic soundscapes gave me the tools to shape feeling into form. And my personal journey—rooted in spiritual practice and lived experience—taught me that the most powerful art comes from connection: to self, to story, and to something greater than us. I don’t just produce music—I help projects speak. And when done right, they speak to the heart.
